Marie's Training Philosophy: |
|
---|---|
I have spent the last decade training men and women across the lifespan, from young athletes to geriatric go-getters. In doing so, I have come to appreciate that "health" isn't about attainment; it's about pursuit. Maybe you're an aspiring bodybuilder. Maybe you're an aspiring pole vaulter (or pole dancer). Maybe you aspire to play catch in the backyard with your great, great, great grandson. Whatever your end goal is, that's not really the end. Because aspirations are a moving target. The moment you arrive, you'll see some new, shinier goal glinting in some new, shinier sunbeam. "I want to spar with my great, great, great grandson in jiu jitsu!" And so you'll begin that pursuit. Accomplish it. And begin another. And so on. That is health. It is the journey, not the arrival. And my role, as a trainer, is to help you identify your next destination, plot the most fuel-efficient course, and be your tour guide as you embark on that journey. |
